Description
A rare color photograph of Judson Alumni Hall. Completed in 1900 on the Furman downtown campus in Greenville, S.C., it was named in honor of Charles Hallette Judson and Furman alumni. Designed by South Carolina native William Augustus Edwards, the building was constructed with two lecture rooms, two upstairs halls for the Adelphian and Philosophian Societies, and a large auditorium that served as the chapel, and the venue for commencement ceremonies. Visable are the memorial windows and the Fleur de lis panels on the east wing.
