Description

The front of the postcard is labeled 'If this is 'Paris,' hope I never see London!' with a drawing by C.A. David (1917) of a soldier standing guard with his bayoneted rifle and his head bowed. In the background is the P&N Station and a sign for Paris. A note indicates that Camp Sevier is situated at Paris Station near Greenville, S.C. The back of this postcard has a note addressed to Mrs. J.W. Kesterson postmarked May 23, 1918. This postcard is part of the Richard D. Sawyer Postcard Collection, part of his Historic Greenville Collection.
